Meet Dr. Alwaqza

Dr. Alwaqza is an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon practicing the full scope of OMFS, with experience spanning dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, benign pathology, and maxillofacial trauma surgery. He graduated summa cum laude from University at Buffalo, where he finished first in his class, before completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at St. Joseph’s Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Alwaqza is committed to compassionate, patient-centered care built on trust, communication, and individualized treatment planning. He combines surgical precision with empathy and attention to detail to help patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their care.

A Brooklyn native and proud father of two boys, Dr. Alwaqza enjoys spending time with family and exploring the outdoors.
